Time: 14:30

After a dramatic comeback from 3 nil down with West Bromwich over the weekend, Chelsea are looking forward to a win this Saturday as they will be playing at Stamford Bridge with no fans due to the corona virus.

Frank Lampard is still facing trouble with his defence which has left them with no clean sheet so far this season with the manager hoping for a win after dropping 2 crucial points. Christian Pulisic and new signing Hakim Ziyech are still out due to injury. Great performances are however expected from Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham.

Crystal Palace being number 6 on the table are looking to maintain their good run this season with 1 loss to Everton and two wins; so far its being a perfect start. In previous encounters with the Blues they have never won a single match against Chelsea therefore Lampard is under pressure to tighten the defence and secure the victory at Stamford Bridge.

Jeffrey Schlupp and Scott Dann will not be available due to injury. Wilfred Zaha will be looking to cause trouble for the Chelsea defence and Mason Mount will also cause some problems for the away team.

The Blues haven’t lost two Premier League London derbies since 1979. Roy Hodgson has never won against Chelsea in both Home and Away matches.

These will be a must win for the blues sine they are looking to regain two points lost to WBA, therefore a draw between the two rivals will be nearly impossible with both teams looking to make the kill during the first half.

Roy’s strategy will be to try a score a goal in the first half since the Blues are better during the 2nd half as they proved during the West Brom match in which they learnt from mistakes and delivered.

Chelsea possible line-up and playing strategy

The blues are looking at curing their defence fall out, with their last lineup involving Mendy, Tomori, Zouma, Chilwell showing some promising results against Tottenham during the Carabao cup. Which they lost through a penalty shoot-out.

Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Mount, Timo Werner, Giroud, Hudson-Odoi are all expected to start. We have earmarked Werner to opening his Premier League account and Abraham as well who are the favourites to score in the match date.

Lamapard is more likely to use a 4-2-3-1 formation with Abraham leading the attack but like Mourinho, Frank loves to study the game and strategy of the rival coach.
